BIO
Agave is a wise old esk who drifts between the deserts of North America. She spends most of her time tending to yuccas and ensuring their seeds are dispersed. Her favorite thing to do is give other esk advice. Not necessarily good advice, though. Her calming enchantment and her reputation as a very old esk make it seem like she knows what she's talking about but she mostly wants to see what happens.
APPEARANCE
Agave is about 7 feet tall, with a sandy, sparkly, partially bleached coat. Her nature features, sandstone and mescal agave, also exhibit white splotches. She has large feet and small arms, and big, expressive eyes. Around her neck is a bottle necklace filled with briny water, which glows a bluish tone. It's said that this makes others calm. Her fur length alternates with moon phases. At full moon, she's got a long coat. By new moon, it's short again. In her short coat, one can see that the skin on her neck tends to hang.
RELATIONSHIPS
Majanthi - 000-VI
The esk who transformed Agave. Majanthi suspected the eventual extinction of ground sloths in the area and offered her a transformation so one of her students could keep up the duty of the species after they were gone. Agave takes this work very seriously, especially now.
Agave can be freely used in stories of other esk. Art, writing, whatever, just keep her character in mind.
TRANSFORMATIONS
Agave is very open to performing transformations. She finds that transformations for those in mental distress are a bit more... exciting than those who are simply physically lost.
BACKSTORY
Long ago, Agave was a shasta ground sloth living in what is now Arizona, enjoying her life eating fruit and wandering around scrublands. Ground sloths were important members of their ecosystems, and she was one of the only members left as they slowly went extinct. Her life was ended by a group of human hunters, but was offered a transformation to continue the service her species had provided.
