BIO
Stump is a friendly, talkative esk that lives in the Arctic circle. They enjoy patrolling the tundra, and they love to travel with others.
APPEARANCE
Stump is about 3 feet high and 5 feet long. Their summer coat is a soft blue, and their winter coat is completely white except for a black stripe on the sides of their body. They have a very thick coat that makes them appear very round, and a short tail that just slightly curls up at the end. In summer, their bearberry crown features the stems, leaves, flowers and berries and in winter it only features the stems and berries. The crown can also feature only a few parts of bearberries, such as just the leaves, or both berries and flowers but not leaves. One of the berries is a tugtupite crystal.
RELATIONSHIPS
Aevre - 000-V
Stump was transformed by Aevre and they look up to her greatly. Stump is infinitely grateful for their transformation. Stump sees Aevre as a role model and tries their best to live up to her standards as a guardian of the arctic.
Faye - 2070
Although their personalities clash, Faye and Stump often travel together. Stump met Faye in the conservatory and on their first excursion to the mountains, they annoyed Faye into destroying an ancient monument and triggering an avalanche. Stump later learned that Faye's apartment is located in Stump's boundary, so they now hang out frequently.
Star - 1639
Stump is a good friend of Star and has gone on multiple exploration trips with them. Stump thinks of Star as the easygoing mediator of their group but since their retransformation they haven't seen much of their friend. They first met in the conservatory.
Stump can be freely used in the stories of other esk.
TRANSFORMATIONS
Stump considers a transformation a last resort. If something is gravely injured or otherwise suffering, they may transform it. However, they don't consider mental distress a reason for transformation.
BACKSTORY
Stump used to be a Samoyed sled dog.
